Terms
Updated 2026-10-21
The rules for using Lore Forever: the add-on, this site, Willo the companion, and the optional plans. By using them, or by buying a plan or a pack, you agree to these terms.
Who runs it
Lore Forever is a fan project by Mike Liu. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft and Warcraft are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

What's free
The add-on, every voice pack and every language, this site and player profiles are free, and they stay free. Blizzard's rules say add-ons must be free. Willo, the companion, answers for free too: 30 answers a day. Ask her out loud and she says her whole answer aloud in her studio voice; typed questions get text answers, and the add-on's short answers show as text. In your first 7 days you can try everything she does a few times each, with your first 50 answers in her finest voice. Once the day's 30 are used, she says so once and answers in writing from the add-on's lore library until the next day.
Willo needs your Lore Forever account: you sign in to use her, and while you're signed out she does nothing.
What's paid
What's for sale is optional: plans that give Willo more answers, a finer voice and more she can do. A plan renews until you cancel it. Prices are in US dollars.
- Hero: $4.99 a month. 1,500 answers a month, up to 100 a day. Willo answers in her finest voice when you ask out loud, and your narrator reads the add-on's short answers aloud. She sees your game, can check the web, and keeps your goals and reminders.
- Champion: $9.99 a month. 3,000 answers a month, up to 200 a day. Everything in Hero, and you pick Willo's voice from her own, characters answer in voices of their own, and she remembers more of your chats.
- Legend: $19.99 a month. 6,000 answers a month, up to 300 a day. Everything in Champion, with her richer voice and smarter mind, the Voices of Azeroth to pick hers from, NPCs rewritten as your own tales, and new features first.
- Willo's finest voice packs aren't sold any more. A pack bought before keeps its replies: they never expire and are used after your plan's own voice.
The add-on's short answers are read in the voice of the narrator at the top of your narrator list. A community narrator's voice is never copied, so with one on top they show as text.
A spoken voice can step down for a while: when a month's spoken replies would cost more than your plan brings, or a voice service is slow or down, Willo answers in a simpler voice (her studio voice, then her own voice made on your PC) until that one is back. Your answers keep coming either way.
Answers aren't sold on their own: once your plan's answers for the day or the month are used, Willo answers from the add-on's lore library until they come back. What each plan includes is on Plans; a plan marked "Coming soon" there can't be bought yet. If free answers get very busy in a month, the free plan's daily answers may drop until the month ends.
Beta offer
From Willo's release until WoW Forever launches (November 4, 2026, 3 pm Pacific time), plans are at beta prices. From the launch, every plan is its full price.
- Hero is free until the launch. Every free account gets Hero at no cost, with no card needed, from the first time you sign in or use Willo during the beta until the launch. Then your account goes back to the free plan by itself; nothing is charged. Plans and your account page show the day it ends.
- Keep Hero during the beta: you add your card and Hero stays free until the launch; Stripe's checkout and Plans show the date. Then it's $4.99 a month until you cancel. Cancel before the launch and nothing is charged.
- Champion and Legend bought during the beta, or switched to then, are half price for the days until the launch, then their full price ($9.99 and $19.99 a month) from the launch.
- Plans bought before October 18, 2026 now renew at the launch, and what you'd already paid for days after it comes off that first charge.
The free Hero comes once per account, even if you delete your account and sign in again. If it gets very busy for us, free accounts may go back to the free plan's answers before the launch.
Paying
- Checkout: payments go through Stripe, on Stripe's own pages. Stripe is the merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments, through Link): it takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipt. We never see your card.
- Starting right away: when you start a plan or buy a pack of Willo's finest voice, and agree to these Terms at checkout, you ask for it to start right away, and you agree that once it has started your 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU and the UK ends, as far as the law allows.
- Prices include tax, so you pay what's listed.
- Renewal: plans are monthly, and a plan renews by itself each month until you cancel it.
- Switching: on Plans. A bigger plan starts right away, and you pay the difference for the rest of your month that day; we show you the amount before you confirm. A smaller plan starts when your month renews, and nothing is refunded for the rest of the month.
- Cancelling: any time, under Manage billing on Plans (Stripe's billing portal). Your plan stays until the end of the month you've paid for, then stops. Until then, Keep on Plans undoes it, with nothing charged.
- A failed payment: your plan stays while Stripe tries your card again. If it can't be paid, the plan ends and your account is on the free plan.
- Refunds and disputes: if we refund this month's payment for a plan in full, or a payment for it is disputed, the plan ends then; a refund of an earlier month, or of an upgrade's charge, leaves it as it is. A disputed payment for a pack of Willo's finest voice takes back that pack's replies. Willo's style and your tales stay saved either way.
- Refunds: payments for plans and packs aren't refunded, except for a billing mistake (charged twice, or the wrong amount) or where the law requires one. Ask through the feedback form, signed in; we look at each request on its own. See Refunds and cancellations.
Changes to plans and prices
We may change the plans or their prices. We'll tell you first, and a subscription you already have keeps its price until it renews after we've told you.
Inviting friends
Your account has its own link to invite friends to Willo (on your account page and in Willo). The rewards are yours; a friend gets nothing for joining, and earns their own by inviting theirs.
- Who counts: a friend who opens your link, makes their account or connects Willo for the first time within 30 days, and gets a first answer from Willo. Each person counts once, ever, for whoever's link they opened first.
- What it gives: every 2 friends give you a free month, one each calendar month: on a paid plan, a credit as big as your next month's charge on your Stripe balance; on the free plan, a month of Hero. Your 5th friend, and your 15th, 25th and so on, also give you bonus answers (half your plan's month of answers). Up to 10 friends count each calendar month; past a month's first 2, they count toward bonus answers only. Bonus answers keep until you use them.
- What doesn't count: your own accounts, accounts made on a computer or in a browser you use, paid for with your card, or with a throwaway email address. We may take back rewards that came from these, and we may change the rewards, telling you first; what you've earned stays.
- Creators who join our creator program earn money instead, under its own terms on that page.
Willo's answers
Willo's live answers are written by an AI model. They can be wrong, and they aren't official game information.
What you write
On a plan, you can tell Willo how to talk to you, and write your own tales of the game's characters, on Willo, your way. We check what you write before Willo uses it. It must not be:
- sexual;
- hateful, or harassing anyone;
- about real people, living or dead;
- encouraging self-harm or suicide;
- extremist;
- a way to get around Willo's own rules.
We may refuse or remove text that breaks these rules, and close accounts that break them.
Your account
You can delete your account any time on your account page. Delete my account cancels any plan and removes your account's data, as Privacy says. Refunds says what happens to time, answers and replies you've paid for.
Lore Forever as it is
Lore Forever and Willo are a hobby project, offered as they are and as they're available. We don't promise they'll always work, be right, or suit what you need, and Willo's answers can be wrong. Your game account stays under Blizzard's own terms: Willo never plays for you, and how you use Lore Forever in the game is up to you.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost game progress, data or profits, and our total liability to you for anything to do with Lore Forever is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before your claim, or US$10 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited, including in the EU and the UK.
Age
You need to be at least 13 to sign in, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms (16 in some countries). If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to agree to them, and to any purchase, for you.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, and disputes go to the courts in San Francisco, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them where you live.
Changes to these terms
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
